Hello all, I have been running a different build to the meta, Some may say its bull some may see where I’m going.

This is the following build

The build is a form of Static Discharge.
I am very unsure on how it hits compared to the meta, so if someone could say if its any good or not would be lovely.

The Vun stacking and might stacking still comes hard, the SD is amazing as well.

I don’t think that’ll work well with static discharge. Only 2 of your skills will work (BoB and analyze) and both are on a decently long cooldown.

Vulnerability stacking isn’t fantastic. Sure it’s there, but using only bombs with 30% condi duration won’t net you more than 12 stacks I think.

Might stacking isn’t fantastic either. You only have 2 blast finishers (not counting elite) and one of those is tied to your healing turret. No battle and strength sigils is a fair loss of might stacks to.

That’s a fair reply, is there away to optimise the meta build but with a different set up.

It’s called meta because it’s optimized. Improving on the current meta build will just invent a new meta. That’s how things work.

Your invested in synaptic overload but you only have 2 knockbacks, one with 30s cd.
You invested in gadgeteer but you have 1 gadget.
You say it’s static discharge but your toolbelts have all pretty big cds.

All fair points. Maybe I’ll work on it. Maybe I want it to be to much of a lot. Any ideas.

Take out gadgeteer and move 1 point from tools into firearms. Personal might stacks are worth a lot less than group might stacks, so you’re better off investing in blast finishers instead. That’s not saying utility goggles is a bad skill, it certainly has it’s uses, but you won’t want to run it all the time. Elixir gun provides the same stunbreak on a shorter cooldown, a low cd blast finisher which deals good damage to stationary enemies, and group condi removal. Elixir U… well, I don’t think it’s cooldown warrants its usage over other skills (rifle turret for blast and static discharge for example), but the projectile defense can be useful sometimes. If only it wasn’t 50% smoke field. Consider changing speedy gadgets to kit refinement or speedy kits.

All in all, I still think the 6/6/0/0/2 build brings better damage, but you’re welcome to run what you like.
