Engineer Mobility Tips
- You can stack lots of swiftness with lightning field + blasts. Start traited Orbital Strike, Use Thunderclap, HealTurret+Detonate for a blast, get 2 more from Orbital Strike. Rocket Boots for one more. If you practice the timing, you can do this while running by starting the OS+Thunderclap targeting at max range in front of you, then Turret blast + Rocket Boots when you’re inside the field.
Great advice, Coro!

On this line, don’t forget you can also swap kits and such for extra blasts. I’ll typically just temporarily equip Thumper turret to get the toolbelt blast off in the field on the run, but you can also swap Shield, EG and/or FT for a quick blast.
You can also avoid using OS+TC by using Big Ol Bomb and Spare capacitor (shredder gyro toolbelt) then swap in the Thumper/EG/FT/shield options for additional blasting.
Nice to use things that won’t leave you with a cooldown on something you want ready for when fighting starts.
I exclusively use rifle… :/
But a thing I hated about the hammer was that #3 couldn’t really be used as a move skill because it just stops you dead in your tracks. In case some don’t know, if you activate hammer #3 and swap to a kit immediately, you can hit the weapon swap key back to hammer to cancel the after-cast and continue the forward momentum.
