Why doesn’t Anet make engineer have appropriate machines and weapons according to race? everything is human based machinery. My asuran who invents golems and floating pillars of buildings made a hand cranked healing barrel. -_-

Rangers have different pets per class, what do you guys think?

The Engineer is a Charr based class, and the machines engineers use are of Charr design.

Several people (including my self) have posted asking for skins on our turrets and kits to reflect our race.

Side note, You can tell Charr from Human designs from the silver ornate pattern all over the object. where as Charr items look industrial or steampunk/clockwork.

Well if it IS charr design. I am hoping for less wood and way more Hard gear and metal with decals. Im not getting much charr from it. More of human, though you are probrably right.

interestingly, while this doesn’t happen for the turrets, I’ve noticed it happens for weapon kits; a charr flamethrower actually looks like a charr design, versus the more bog standard for humans. not that a flame thrower really is ever bog standard, but still.

Really? I used an engineer but decided to role with just turrets so I would never had noticed it. Well I wonder why they didn’t change the turret designs as well.
