Guild Wars 2

I roll WvW a lot with my guild which means a fair bit of zerging. Before the patch, I was a bit lost and confused as to where we would fit in the zerg, if so at all. My picture shows my current stats and from what I’ve seen on the other class forums is this as close to top stats I can get.

I was wondering if there are any other engineers out there that focus primarily on toughness/vitality/armour and surviving the zerg? And what do you have?

I personally roll Rabid. PVT gear is too tanky for general use unless you’re running some kind of FT variant, which is what I presume you’re going for.

Most times if I’m losing, I can just escape with Rocket boots back into my zerg and that’ll be the end of that combat encounter (for about 10sec.).

I got a good amount of toughness and hp, if I remember correctly, I can push my condition dmg to around 1700-1800 with this and and am able to kill pesky thieves and other non bunkers without too much trouble using p/p, rocket boots, oil slick and magnet shield. Its worked well for me so far.
