I finally hit 80, so now I’m looking on how to gear my engi. I’m mostly going to be doing wvw on it, roaming/havocing. to my understanding, condition damage engis do the best damage/tanking wise, correct me if im wrong. so if a more experienced engi would be so kind as to show their build, itd be much appreciated, thanks!

You got the part about Condition Engineer’s at the given time being the strongest for WvW roaming/havocing right!

Congrats on 80. Good luck out there. Learn how to fight thieves. Luckily an Engineer has a lot of good thief counters. As a roamer you’re going to be coming across a ton of them.

Been seeing more 1 guardian with a pack of thieves roaming groups lately. Might be just a trend in my tier, but it’s pretty darn nasty.

Yeah I haven’t seen that around over here. my main is a guardian so I’m off to a good start when it comes to countering thieves :P. thanks for all the builds guys, im probably combining Rozbuskas build and Amadeuss explosive toolkit build to make something a bit in between.
