Engineer - any fun to lvl in PvE??
Yes sir, engineer is for many engineers the most fun class.
Pros:
-no other class has so much builds which almost works.
-access to all conditions except fear.
-grenades and bombs.
- some very good traits to go for (I level ranger at the moment and I don’t see any good trait in the whole tree :-o )
- Fun traits which will make you laugth for sure.
-highest range dps over all.
-highest schoolar curve
-crazy and interesting combos of skills, also deep multi use of skills
cons:

-flamethrower is utility – I want dps :-/
-some traits are really broken but it gets better from patch to patch. Actually engineer get’s lot of attention.
-turrets are kitten.
-hard to play on a competive level
-strength totally ignored by PvE mainstream only proz zerker warriors.

yes and no, depending on how you play.
If you want a “set it and forget it” type of build, that you can pick a trait line once and never alter… well you are going to be bored off your tree. If you are more like me and have spent gods know how many gold on respecs, new gear etc to try out fun builds you come up with then the engie is by FAR the best class for you.
Pros: There’s a bunch of Kits that provide weapon skills, which is a good thing…
Cons: …because the Engineer gets almost no weapon choices. Also unfortunate: any Kit you choose will take up a Utility slot (and you’ll be theoretically compensated for this by means of the Toolbelt).
