I recently started using this build after experimenting alot with engi, It’s 100% awesomeness. Once you get used to switching between the kit and using your shield you will be kicking alot of kitten The build itself doesn’t have the “best” power output but the sheer survivability makes it easy enough to kill people non stop.
This build also makes BS thieves a cakewalk imo.
sPvP, im looking for some damage, with a lot of knock downs and heals i saw the other day this kind of engineer tanking out two people yet bursting them down, im curious about what set of weapons/traits was he using.
I run a high power semi bunker for spvp using rifle flamethrower & bombs. Spec is 20|15|15|20|0 using soldier neck w/ berserker jewel. For armor I use 5 fighter & 1 divinity rune. You end up with over 3500 attack/ 15% crit (more situationally with traits) over 2700 armor and about 23k health.
The build is pretty tough defensively… I use elixer R for the revives and endurance regen and the healing elixir (with the trait to remove conditions on elixer consumption). The best part of the build is the amount of control it gives with all your knock backs and conditions at your disposal…. And you can still deal out some hefty damage. You can clear a point and hold it vs multiple foes… Knock people around and out of their rotations and then finish them off. I fear no class with this setup and consistently top the leader board in spvp (for whatever that is worth). I’ve tried out countless other builds but always come back to this one since it works so well for me.

thats a kind of build im looking for the tankcat build was okay but in spvp im feeling more and more like its Zerg city so im constantly up against 5 players all the time and that tankcat build is not getting me kills to lower that number. if i wanted to go against zergs i would WvW x.x

hmm yea thats what i basically made except for elixer R i use elixer B idk why it just seems better to me and the toss on elixer R is verry long cooldown x.x lol
