I see a ton of bugs, or balance issues, and i propose the following as most negatively impactful to my days of playing engi:

1) Hammer #3 is inconsisent. Sometimes, i dont jump the right distance. Sometimes i jump backwards, sideways, and every which way. This is consistent, with no targets picked.

2) Toolkit #5 does not accurately pull a lot of the time. It can sometimes pull to me, sometimes make them trip, and sometimes make them come half the way. This was said to have been fixed. Its not.

3) Gyros get caught on anything, and everything. Theyre also not fast enough to keep up. This was also stated to have been fixed. Is there a QA team at all? Does anyone actually play engi at the office? it took me about 2 seconds to notice this upon HoT release.

4) Function gyro frequently wont give me the option use, or wont do anything when used.

5) Not a bug fix, but a serious QoL fix: Mortar Kit should have 50% velocity increase. Its extremely frustrating not only having to aim the shot at 1500 range, but having someone with swiftness can literally outrun the shot if they start by standing next to you, and just auto run away with swiftness. This needs to be more accurate, and velocity of the shell will help this.

6) medkit sucks. Another QoL needed change. At the same time, take a look at a lot of our inventions tree (blasts in Adept, Dispersion field in GM both are worthless)

7) Please let Super speed stack.

1) Yes. Doesn’t feel like that much of a convenience, though, in my opinion unless I’m trying to stack personal stealth. This particular bug is most noticeable when I’m using it facing a wall or corner.
2) Dunno about that, doesn’t make much of a difference in PvE so I’m respectfully going to have to be neutral about that one.
3) I personally don’t run around a lot with my Gyros enough that they would actually need to have to move around a lot, since I’m meleeing things and I only summon my Gyros during a world boss event (aka, when I really need it) as the only Gyro I’m ever using is the Bulwark gyro since I’m mostly a PvEgineer. However this point has already appeared in multiple threads, so yes.

NOTE: I have actually encountered this bug before in spite of what I’ve written and it does annoy me a little when it doesn’t come with to help buff me so I can finish off a mob.
4) Double click on a downed person and it will do the job.
5) Dunno about that, how about leading the shot? It does feel a little slow, though.
6) Don’t use it then, I guess. Not like Healing Turret is already PvE meta. No comment on the Inventions tree thing, I don’t really know what to say about that.
7) It’s not classed as a boon, so… no. If it was a boon it can be stripped and that’s bad. You’re knocking on the wrong door here, I think maybe.

About 4: If they have swiftness, i have to lead them by about 1700 range. And hope they run in that exact direction. >.>

Good point, actually.

I think Anet need to make super speed… more “super speed”, though.

If super speed stacked, there is no doubt they would nerf rapid regeneration though. Because I could easily stack enough super speed to keep it up 100% of the time. And there is no doubt in my mind that they would not allow the engineer to have 600 heal per second up at all times. It would be entirely to easy to keep both SS and swiftness up 100% of the time. As it is now, I keep swiftness up 100%, regent up most of the time, and chain SS so it is almost always up. I am already fearful that a nerf is incomming. So there is no doubt they would nerf the trait if SS stacked.
