Did Anet update the kits and/or wing back items at any point so you could use the two together?

Because that’s what I just saw. I was in Queensdale, just outside the Garrison, and I saw an engineer using a flamethrower kit – with the pack visible on her back – also wearing the shattered dragon wings.

Stupidly I didn’t remember to get a screenshot at the time.

I just checked and my engineer still swaps out her universal multitool pack when she equips a kit. I’m not willing to bind a skin (especially not over my pack, which I want to keep) just to test it but I was wondering if maybe it’s something unique to the wings, or if they’ve done something with all the LS back item skins so you can use them with kits.

Does anyone know?

There is a bug where your actual back-piece will show on top of kit backpacks after an action. (auto-attack, etc.)

I actually like it on my Charr, the race has an issue where backpacks sit on our head/shoulders when wielding two handed weapons and using the multitool backpack bulks up the two-handed kits (FT/EG) and reduces the ugliness of the issue.

The bug makes it impossible to wear most backpacks without Charrmour-level clipping though, which is pretty unpleasant.
