Theres really no point to this post other than to tell the boards how much I love this class. Compared to Mesmer, Ele, Ranger, Guard and Thief…. this feels like a completely different game when I play as my Engi. I feel powerful, mobile, able to defend… im not stuck in a particular style like my Mes and Guard are. I.. I love you Engi <3

I’m with you. I have a thief, mesmer, and necro. I really didn’t think I could have more fun on a class in this game then I have on my mesmer. Once I got my engy to 80 and all decked out, it is amazingly fun and is close to becoming my favorite class in the game.

I have more fun with my engineer than I do any other class. Even after hours and hours, it doesn’t get old. So much versatility and a dynamic playstyle makes it a joy to play.

Engineer really is a versatile class. I love how we can switch from Melee Bombs to Ranged Grenades with the simple press of a button rather than waiting on swap cooldowns.

Most of all though, I love our consistent DPS with bombs.

Until just recently when I just randomly thought hey I got some slots to fill and made an Asura engineer I’ve never touched the engineer class outside of sPvP(where I made a character randomly for that reason only). I LOVE it. Quickly leveled my cutesy wootsy little Asura to 80 and I still love it.
I got almost all classes but the engineer’s the best by far.
The ONLY think I want is a hammer other then that I’m totally happy with all the things and the high skill required unlike other classes.

I just can’t play any other profession, engineer ruined them for me! Guardians, warriors, and necromancers feel slow and clunky. Thieves, elementalists, and mesmers feel too light and squishy. Rangers feel OK, but their pets cause them so many issues, and they aren’t as versatile as the engineer.

I have to say I switch between Thief and Mesmer as my main nonstop. I dont know which I want to get Bolt for. I made a Sylvari Engi because I dont like Sylvari and I thought I wouldnt like the Engi, but lord was I wrong. This really might become my main

Of the 6 toons I leveled to 80 (make that 5 my ranger was deleted in a fit of logical anger) engineer is the least boring. It’s also the toon I am most likely to keep trying new builds with. I rarely run a rotation and it is one of the few classes that is unpredictable by nature.

Mesmer is my top toon, but I’m spending more time on my engi lately. Guns and wonderful batman toys are just too fun.

Also working on a warrior, thief, and ranger when I feel like mixing it up. I really really wish I could just combine the engi, ranger, and thief into one class. Then I’d have it made. The range of the ranger, but using the guns/toys and a bit of stealth from the engi and thief, respectively, is my ideal character concept. So just give me a sniper kit with a stealth skill, and I’ll be totally happy with engi. No other characters needed .

I know what you mean, I’m not even level 80 yet and it is the most fun I have ever had in a MMO and I played GW1 for 5 years and thought that was an awesome time. I told my Girlfriend last night (we play together) that I don’t think I need to or want to play another class right now because I love the engineer so much. She just gave me a weird look, she mains Necromancer and plays the other class to get the kicks off of them; whereas I can get those kicks just by playing this lovely, amazing class. I love my engineer too <3

If only we could form like ultron…

Engineer is my second favourite class after Eles but it is on the way to take over my first spot of favourite for my Eles. Someone stop me Q_______Q

Engineer is second choice…much prefer my ranger for pvp.
