Engineers should be able to heal/buff siege
Or at least our mortar we put down (and have a buff to damage).
Repair siege weapon would be good and that morter had a longer range so it cod be used for something.
Would be great to not just hear someone call for ‘a mesmer with a portal’, but also ‘Do we have an engineer with a tool kit? Our treb’s under attack.’
Mortars need some long AND short range fixing.
They are designed as the ultimate WvW elite.
Just like elixir X is in theory a great stability point defending elite for tpvp.
But we all use only supply crate… and for good reason too.
You throw handgrantes as far as the morter go so its totaly pointless, rangers shoot arrows way much longer.
I feel all professions should have as power and unique abilities as portal, feedback, null field, daggerstorm.
If engineers can repair siege then I think it’s best that it consumes supplies carried by the engineer, at half the rate of building the siege.

Team Shatter [TS]
If that would be the case, then engineers should be able to carry more supplies at one time since we have more use for them.
It would either have to be such a small heal/buff as to be virtually pointless or completely unbalanced; imagine a guild golem with a bunch of engineers healing/buffing it, it would be unstoppable and make engineers more useful in WvW than any other class (although I do find that mesmer skills also shouldn’t affect golems, but that’s a different story).
The ideal group setup to assault anything would literally be nothing but engineers, with a few mesmers and siege.
Gee, sure sounds like how TPvP and PvE is already, for other classes.
