Enginer Un-balanced

try some. then build your own.
Look up condition-burst build with HGH (’nades and elixirs).
IMHO, this is one of the strongest builds among any class. Most engineer builds are rubbish though.
Although if it’s WvW you mean, confusion-centered builds can be very strong.

In what ways is it stronger than all the other classes?
l2p…engis are soo strong in spvp 1v1 or even 1v2 you just need to learn how to play…and get the rightbuild for spvp…pve stuff dont transfer over too spvp

Very easy might stacking and the ability to re-apply a whole lot of conditions very, very quickly. Trap rangers have an equal or better condition burst but if the traps miss it’s gone. Necros have steady bleeds and poison, but that’s it. It’s like a glass cannon condition build, with the added bonus of having great condition removal and elixir S to get you out of tight spots.
That said, it needs a good team with the right composition to be very successful. I don’t feel it’s that strong of a 1v1 build, although it does well enough for that if forced into it. It certainly can’t stand focus fire, though not much can.
I think that, the enginer is very unbalanced i think that the enginer in pvp doesn’t deal any damage and, is most overpowered by other classes
I’d say true of most builds. I leveled my engi 50% from wvw, and mostly with rifle/turret hehe. But that was back in like oct-nov. I still prefer to sling a rifle/shotgun for 1v1 in wvw (yes only one sigil), but have been kit grenadier since December.
At least in that, I wouldn’t say “doesn’t deal any damage”. Yes provided you need to do a lot of nading, but in tower attack and defense it works very well including using the function skill. And on attack, you can take out oil pots, cannons and stuff like that quicker than any other as well as CD the wall vaders and make them run. Fair amount of kills.
Most of P/P Condition builds will do, Static Discharge Rifle Burst still works wonders.
I’d argue HGH Power Rifle Nades, HGH Condi P/P Nades, and Static Discharge are still viable in sPvP. Our Bunker builds are okay, but obviously outshined by the Eles and Guardians. In WvW our Confusion based builds become extremely powerful, and the ability to reach +100% condi-duration makes condis in general really powerful there. In PvE we would be competitive if there wasn’t such a harsh condi-cap, and even then we are probably just below the top 3 in terms of PvE competitiveness.
We really aren’t that bad off. Not to mention, it’s very likely we have some undiscovered builds still around. I’ve seen some very promising Turret antics and some interesting non-Grenade Kit builds. Heck most of the time you take something we already do and make a playstyle change and/or a single trait change and it suddenly becomes competitive. So really, I don’t think we are in bad shape at all.

Hey bud this last patch really fixed us even though it wasn’t an Engineer fix, more of an equipment fix – Giver’s.
I wouldn’t say that this profession is unbalanced, but rather unfinished. Big difference. Probably the biggest problem is that many of the devs tend to focus the Engineer from a sPvP side of things. I’ve seen the turret Engineer in sPvP and I’m impressed, but it is not applicable in WvW or PvE (not with bosses). Also the devs haven’t quite figured out what they want the Engineer to be yet. Do they want them to swap through many kits rapidly (KF – was the old carrot) , or do they want them using just one kit? Or on another note, do they want them to just use weapons and turrets, or weapons and gadgets?
The devs are really trying to figure out the best thing for this profession, but time after time their efforts to finish this profession hasn’t been that successful.

Weak? I would say they got overbuffed and soon will be dominating meta once ppl find it out.

Good luck with that. “**** engineers” is something I have never, ever heard in teamspeak.
I think the basic problem is “jack of all trades, not overly good at any of them”, which makes it harder to create good engineer builds and really easy to create a lot of bad builds which lack focus (since we, as a class, lack focus). A lot of our core stuff (like turrets) are lackluster. Our base weapons are pretty lackluster as well, and not really made up for with the kits, most of which are also lackluster.
I would be awfully surprised to see engineers dominating under the current patch.

I wouldn’t say they are OP, but strong because they fixed equipment. Every condition build for all professions greatly benefited from this. Have you seen a Condition Warrior? They may not have the range, but they can immobilize you, stack 15+ bleeds at half the effort and can drop burning when they want to. Now add in that 100% condition duration and 12 stacks of bleeds from it’s F-Skill is going to bite.
Engineer does very well with conditions and this buff helped conditions directly and Engineer indirectly.

I think that, the enginer is very unbalanced i think that the enginer in pvp doesn’t deal any damage and, is most overpowered by other classes, i think that someone should balance the enginer more by giving him so more spells, atributes i don’t know. If someone thinks the contrary could you please help me, so i can deal more damage with my enginer on pv please
what’s giving you troubles, young buck? lend us some insight into what’s ailing you and we might be able to give you some more focused advice. Engi’s are very competent in sPvP but they don’t necessarily play like any of the other classes and can take a bit of getting used to, which can make them seem rather unforgiving. Once you get the hang of it though it’s all butter!
I’ve stayed at this party entirely too long

In a game without trinity – a game where trying to fit in one role results weakness – in this game: the jack of all trades is king.

For PvE I would tend to agree. No specific weakness is a pretty good strength.
For PvP (sPvP and WvW), it’s the other way around. Nobody knows or cares what your specific weakness is but they will care a great deal about your specific strength. If you don’t have a specific strength, then you’re going to come out looking a lot weaker than classes that do. Thieves make good burst damage killers and good bunkers and people who build to one of those strengths can make a really mean PvP character. Trying to build a mean PvP engineer is like trying to build a “support thief” — you can’t easily build towards something that isn’t a specific strength, and we have no specific strengths.

Especially for PvP I feel really overpowerd with this perfect hybrid class. It’s not like u can everything but nothing good. It’s like u can everything. Without big penalty. Long time I played only WvW (about 15k kills, mainly not in zergs) but I started tPvP (soloing) and so far I got about 80% win ratio with engineer.
