Duke Vindictae (80 Chronomancer)
Pain is temporary, Regret is forever.
Hi, I have just recently started my engi as my second 80, maybe future main, but I have NO clue where to start.
I love the idea of turrents, (loved shaman in WoW) but they seem squishy and not well liked in general.
Kits, flamethrower has more to be desired
The grenade kite works but its boring
Which traits should I put into to level? (mostly dungeons runs after 30)
P/P, P/S, R? I currently use P/S ,its viable but again kinda boring
What should I gear into? Power/VIt/Pres? Power Crit? toughness?
certain skills I should definetly grab? and a dungeon acceptable elite? (or wanted constantly?) <- with Mesmer I got Mass invis at 60+ way after I needed it
If anyone can answer ANY of these questions id really appreciate it.

Leveling:

Equipment: Power > Precision/Condition Damage > Crit Damage > Vitality/Toughness
I think this is like the 3rd time today people have asked for an engineer leveling guide without bothering to look at that thread.
What Desert Rose said is great for leveling. Dont forget to buy a sigil of bloodlust(only 55c) to max your power
Once you hit 80, there are many viable builds that can work. I primarily use the build in my sig and a bursty Static Discharge build.
