Will we get F5 toolbelt abilities for racial elites ? I guess yes, but not sure

Maybe the racial skills will disappear with the new system. There was a picture of the new system to unlock skills and traits with elementalist as an example. (Tempest was confirmed as elite spec name this time)

There wasn’t a path to get racial skills so maybe they won’t be in the game anymore.

There IS this bit, buried in the patch notes for Mesmer: “Confounding Suggestions: Increases daze and stun duration on foes by 25%. When you would daze a foe, you stun them instead (5s ICD). Fixed a bug which caused this trait to not update the skill facts for the racial skills Technobabble and Raven Shriek.”

They wouldn’t bother fixing this if they were dropping racial skills entirely, so we can at least know they’re staying.

Some of my guesses for what some of them may be. They may or may not be realistic:

Artillery Barrage- Air support: Call in a gyrocopter to support you for 20 seconds
Charrzooka- Charrtar: Pull out the original mortar at your location
Warband Support – Call in a tank that you can use for a short while.

Become the Bear – Swipe: Do a quick swipe that knocks down. 100 range.
Become the Wolf – Howl: Fears nearby enemies
Become the Raven – Eat raven egg
Become the Snow Leopard – Eat snow leopard egg

I was really worried to get rid of my sylvari skills. But you gave me new hope. =’) Thank you very much.

I’m very interested in my Sylvari racial elites now. I’m hoping for something like
Take Root – Throw Seed Bomb (damage + bleed or torment) || Detonate Seed Turrets: (only if turrets are deployed, damage + poison or confusion)

I want to know this as well.

Would like a Heal AoE rain skill like WoW Druids for the Charr Barrage skill.

Summon unit skill gets a summon environmental weapon kit.

I just hope my Charr Racials would help out Melee wise or with some good ranged support. I want to rock Hammer Charr commando style….

Reaper of Grenth-> Grenth’s Balance: Siphon Health, Siphon more if they are above a certain Health threshold.
Avatar of Melandru-> Melandru’s Resilience: Gain Resistance and Regeneration
Hounds of Balthazar-> Balthazar’s Aura: Burn targets around you

Also, while not a racial skill per se:

Mistfire Wolf-> Mistfire Storm: Bombard the area with Mistfire shards, inflicting chill and burn.
