Has anyone successfully used airblast against cata and treb fire?

I think that siege weapons are a different category than projectiles in combat.

Good question… wish I had an answer. I’m pretty certain that the air blast works against the ballista. I have tried it against the treb and cata, but I’m not certain if it helps or has any effect.

Elementalists have an ability that will destroy siege projectiles which is where I believe this question is coming from.

I’ve tried many times to block ballista shots, does not work, same with treb and cata shots, but it may be the lag thats keeping those two from getting destroyed. If not, I can see why they dont, as you could destroy a majority of the shots alone with the low cd on Air Blast, it might render elementalist focus useless for defense -.- although toss elixer U reflect/smoke field will destroy cata and treb fire assuming it doesnt fizzle.

Abilities that destroy projectiles work on siege, reflects do not, because that was abused in beta.

What about Elixir U tossing of the Smokescreen? Assuming you got Smokescreen instead of the reflect wall.

Smokescreen works! at least my Theif buddy abuse is all the time, but a bit harder to land then say; The Elementalist Whilring Winds! But people allready given the real answear: If it destroy Projectiles it works, but not if it reflects
