Guild Wars 2

Heyo! I just hit 80 yesterday night with my first character and I’m not entirely sure what I should do first.

I have around 248k karma and 25 laurels. Do you fellow engineers have any advice on what I should do first? My gear is still the level 60 t2 stuff with a piece or two of level 78. My first priority is getting new gear I suppose. Just not sure what I need to start collecting/saving up for. My googlekittenis either weak, or there aren’t many topics to read that point fresh 80’s in a general direction.

Any advice and tips are greatly appreciated.

Well by now you should know what kind of build youvare aiming for. If you dont go spvp around a bit with different builds. Run dungeons for your armor and weapons and use the karma for your trinkets since you cant exchange dungeon tokens for those

Save your laurels until you are 100% sure of what you want

If you don’t want to grind dungeons.. You can get Exotic gear for 250K Karma in Orr.

Then use Laurels and grind Fractals for Ascended Trinkets.

I just got my Eng to 80 last night as well. It’s my 4th 80 though. You can become an Altaholic like myself or there are a few other options.

Fractals
WvW
Map Completion
Achievement Hunting
World Boss Farming
Build a Legendary
sPvP

Just a few options off the top of my head. Me? I’ll be working on my Guardian to 80. Only 30 lvls to go for him
