I used to play about 8 months ago, and I’m just now getting back into GW2.

Has the flamethrower missing problem been fixed yet?

depends on which your talking about. The skill2 can now be used after an airblast as well as gained the ability to be manually detonated, greatly increasing its kill-ability.

If your speaking of the skill1 then no, the flame graphic still follows your character facing but the damage cone followers your camera. If you just hold right-click the entire time while looking at the target you will never miss again. You may even be surprised how wide of an aoe the flame skill 1 has.
