Hello.

I am trying to fix my build a bit as i like the playstyle with FT and EG.

The builds are focused on normal PVE and farming events.

What do you think is the better build?:

10/30/0/30/0 was really good when Incendiary Powder was a necessity, and when Juggernaut was a 30-point trait. Still, if you’re intent on using Elixir B, your 30 Alchemy variant is probably better suited for it. 25 Tools is more useful if you’re taking a gadget as your third utility.

If you’re willing to consider that, I think the 25 Tools build is significantly better. With the change to Rocket Boots now making them viable—and a lot of fun—I personally have dropped Incendiary Powder from my build in favor of Rocket Boots. Its toolbelt skill, Rocket Kick, effectively replaces Incendiary Powder while leveraging more damage at the same time.

Enduring Damage along with an additional 25% Critical Damage from traits means that your Flamethrower will hit significantly harder than any other variant, especially since you’re still taking advantage of Target The Maimed and Deadly Mixture.

It will still dish out marginally less damage than the Bomb Kit or Grenade Kit, but that trade-off comes with more survivability and better synergy with the Elixir Gun to prevent bloat/useless traits.

i say your 0/25/0/20/25 is better but here is my reasoning around it (since i play one too).

Now i made some variant around and it really depend on your playstyle more then anything else.

Keeping perma swiftness and vigor, i can use it both in pve and pvp but lacking some defense in pvp but it still more then enough for group roaming. Static discharge in this build is meh, thinking of switching it out since it doesnt work with healing mist and regenerating mist. With energy conversion matrix, its not rare for me to have 3-5 boons so its a damage increase.

Bomb from dodging and 10% more damage when endurance is full. With invigorating speed, its easy to keep being full and still use a dodge here and there. The bomb do a nice damage but its not always useful.

With adrenal implant and invigorating speed, you regenerate energy like crazy and can do “almost” endless string of dodges. Which can be really useful in WvW

With precise sight. If you do some flamethrower auto attack and got a good crit chance, they stack SUPER fast which can be super useful to the group, offering up to 25% more damage on a boss is huge.
