Hello, I’m curios about full damage flamethrower build, compared to other classes like warrior or ranger which can play very easy on berserker builds.
Have anyone tested flamethrower build with berserker stats ? It’s hard to keep engi alive on that ? killing mobs is fast enough to maintain alive, and how about tougher mobs like veterans or higher ?

TL:DR? Its useless. You can consider FT as part of multikit rotation but I cant recoment that ether.

It’s decent and not very viable for tpvp, but It’s fun to play. Flame blast hits like a truck. You can also hit surprise shot in between detonating Flame blast.

I’m pretty sure anything works in pvp/wvw. 1111111111 like a boss.

Auto attack is worthless in PvP, but your 2 hits hard, your knockback is efficient, and blind is always nice
However dont sit in it too long.
Edit- Just read that you were talking about PvE, then i would say its.. possibly worse, unless you dont have friends with you that need might but cant deliver it themselves.

You don’t want to camp the kit in any serious dungeon run. It has it’s uses but as an With Engi you either stick with Grenades to apply Vulnerability or you’re using another build that constantly cycles through kits/weapons to hit the highest damage abilities that are off cooldown. There are worse things out there then FT but its not a high damage kit to stick with even in Zerker. OK for open world zerg PvE where tagging stuff is important.
