Is there any reason for not being able to aim upwards with Flame Jet & Air Blast?

If you have a selected target that’s at higher elevation than you (with a clear LoS) you can hit them with FT. But camera targeting has always been a bit wonky.

Still, it seems like it requires a lot of camera movement or ground elevation to be able to aim upwards, I dont have any trouble aiming downwards.
