Flamethrower change in January patch
I haven’t tested any changes to the FT conal damage. I will have to test that and see how it feels to me in an hour or two when I am in game again. If it is working better, I may use it a little more myself.
Im enjoying the FT very much now after the patch.
Are there any “viable” FT Builds?

There is still a problem hitting objects, even when you aim at it point blank will it just keep missing.
Yeah, for structure attacks, flamethrower is still incapable of aiming up or down, meaning that some structures (notable recent observation: steam-beast portals) are simply completely un-hittable with flamethrower, forcing fallback of pistol or rifle autoattacks.
Crazy enough, I can move my camera angle and hit objects sometimes. I do it on reflex now whenever missmissmiss comes up.
