I started leveling engineer, he’s really fun and interesting to play and I’m quite interested in the forge because he’s the first profession I knew which didn’t knew the elite details when I started following hoT. (Planning on getting it even as a very casual player)

What information is out about it and when will we get more information?

I know he’ll use a hammer (I think it’s his only melee weapon set together with the tool kit, bombs don’t count).
The drones seem interesting, maybe they will be AI which follows you, maybe they are sentries which move in a certain pattern to guard a place.
I don’t know about either of them since I have to little experience about engineer and the game overall to comment on it.

How will the information be released? Would it be bit by bit in the next week or would it be one stream where all the information gets revealed?

They will probably do a livestream this Friday and show us the gameplay of the forge. Stay tune =D

Those drones remind me of the “7 dwarves” Agent Fitz uses in Agents of Shield. I wonder if they took inspiration from, I mean he is an engineer too.

I wish i would have the hype level of you guys, cause everytime A-Net announced something about engis, it sounds nice and at the end only the half is useful or implemented (Trait rework, Basline announcement which were not true, Turret rework and so on).

Not exactly sure what that is supposed to mean actually. I meant your point that “No one cares for or plays ranger” cannot possibly be true, especially since there are more Rangers playing than Engineers.
