Sup guys,

I’ve really been enjoying my scrapper since launch but I notice I lack speed. I play more of a tanky build, so when people try to run away I can’t always catch them.

How are you guys getting your swiftness/what combos are you using? I’m new to engineer overall so haven’t had much luck figuring it out.

-Elixir-b = drink it for speed and toss it for stability, good elixir to go with scrapper.

-Blast finish in lightning fields that engineers with scrapper spec got a load off, with the right traits you even get superspeed and thats a nice thing in battle.

-Rocket boots = blast finish and massive gap closer\opener, mixed with a lightning field you should be able to catch people pretty good…well works for me atleast.

-Steamlined kits trait = Equip a kit just for a second and swiftness is yours, good trait.

-Blast gyro toolbelt for superspeed and a stunbreaker in case somebody planted a trap or something stupid behind them to keep you from pursuit.

-A good idea is also to try and catch the enemie in your hammer #5 and stun em. It does got a good reach on it.

-If you use a mortar you could use #3 for a frost aoe and aim it proper and so slowing them down…also awesome if you follow it up with hammer #3 for frost aura stacking, right away a good advantage in melee.

Also, if you happen to be running a build that does not take Inventions or Tools, you can always get perma swiftness with a simple Lightning Field + two blast finishers of your choice. Mine are normally Healing Turret and Flamethrower 2 or Elixir Gun 4.

Thunderclap is a lightning field. When you blast lightning fields, you get swiftness. Just blasting your Healing Turret and Acid Bomb gives you like 20 seconds of swiftness, which covers most of its CD.

Elixir B is a great utility open world, so combine that with it and you’re easily running perma swiftness without being forced to take Streamlined Kits or Mecha Legs.
