What if you made a system where you threw your grenades at an AoE circle on the ground like you do now, but instead of them just flying to that point they flew to anyone who was in that circle when you threw them? Less leading, less getting pwned, more people exploding!

I don’t agree. From a design perspective, since Arrows, Bullets, and Fireballs don’t “follow” targets, neither should Grenades.

I’m not sure I agree or not. But most abilities (including fireballs, bullets, etc.) are not ground-target. As such, they’re much easier to cast and much more likely to be on-target.

If grenades are to be a test of skill, then damage has to be buffed, IMHO. If I have to hit moving unpredictable targets in PvP with them, then it should pay off in a major way – as in if they don’t dodge or get out of the way, they should get badly mangled. Much more so than currently. Or grenade #1 skill should have the option of non-ground target and autoattack as well. To bring it in line with other weapons.

Grenades do almost twice the amount of damage a pistol shot does, and that’s per grenade. If you get the Grandmaster Explosives trait, then you’ll be tossing out 3 grenades, and adding 2-3 stacks of vulnerability per hit.

I think grenades don’t need an auto aim or any type of homing. Besides, you’re tossing them, not precisely aiming them.
