A part of recent changes to the game and a focus to the expansion has been the encouragement of alternate playstyles, notably condition damage, crowd control focused builds and support.
Gyros could be changed to be immune to direct damage. Vulnerable to condi application and CC effects. They retain counterplay, encourage use against meta standards and reward new playstyles while being more rewarding for the engineer to use. I know we just had the systematic changed announced and I’m excited both to see the changes and how they play out, but I feel that the idea is still worth considering. Mostly inspired by the value guardian.
