Gyros should actually benefit from traits

There’s one thing that don’t make that changes effective.
Gyros run with fuel, and when it is over, like a normal drone we have access today, it will crash. Power Wrench shouldn’t recover the “life time” of the Gyro. It’s a good idea (maybe because I’m a Tool Kit fan lol), but don’t match with the theme of the specialization.

Like it, but whats the point of the knockback if the gyros aleady daze? As far as im concerned hard ccs overlap eachother
+1 agree w everything you propose, Only thing is I think the community will get a little kitten if we have the bulwark gyro raising a reflection bubble, followed by two more shield bubbles……but on the bright side pew pew rangers and kill shot zerkers will be raging like no tomorrow
I don’t think the turret-specific traits should affect Gyros. Turrets and Gyros aren’t the same thing. They’re thematically different from one another. They’re two different things, even if they’re both AI “summons”. Trait interplay is great and all, but it shouldn’t just be forced. And Scrapper does have trait interplay with other parts of Engineer anyway, just not in this particular area.
I definitely think gyros ought to benefit from explosion traits, though. They explode when they die. Though there are a whole list of things Engineer has that “should” benefit from Explosion traits that don’t.
Tool Kit healing I’d be on-board with as well. Makes sense that Tool Kit could heal all mechanical constructs. But obviously it would need to only heal their health and not prolong their timers.
The reflect is too good. Engi reflect is already too good with hammer. As said earlier, Daze and reflect is kind of redundant, but shredding stability is good. The pulsing boons is cool, but what would they pulse that wouldn’t be op?

What Cecilia said. Some traits would be too good with the gyros (reflect) but the explosion traits, knockback and tool kit heal i think can be reasonable.
BUT before you add these, make it that if the enemy destroys the gyros they dont do damage nor daze (knockback with trait if it would change) nor proccing explosion traits (if it would change), only if the engineer himself manually destroys them (the lightning field from the trait should be procced in both situations still).
Even if none of the OP’s change would go through (so traits stay as it is) this should be changed.
