Guild Wars 2

So I’ve recently hit 80 and decided I want to run a HGH Build going 30/10/0/30/0 and was wondering what the best kind of armour to run is? I’ve had carrion suggested to me but what do you guys suggest?

Be more specific. What weapon/kit are you using? Did you choose the runes as well?

Dual Pistol, nade kit, Sigil of Battle and Sigil of Corruption on the pistols. I need to work out what im running for gear and runes / whatever on them.

Depends on what type HGH build you use. Carrion is bit useless for us because lots of our condi procs are crit based
If you want play p/p condi/grenade is probably best Rampager for maximize damage but most players use rabid instead for lots of toughness.
Rifle versions will works best with Berserk.

Ahkay thanks, yeh Rampagers would be sweet for damage but I don’t think I want to sacrifice the durability I’d get from rabid. Cheers!

I will always prefer rampagers over rabid for PvE. There are far too many structure/condition immune bosses in the game that make it an absolute pain to run without power. Personally I run Rampager+Knight armors with all stat trinkets, berserker pistol and knight shield, but thats because I run with bombs & nades and I’m up close and personal often.
