I’ve been away for a little while, and have only logged in today to see the state of the Engineer post-patch.

It seems that the tossed version of each Elixir is giving only 1 stack of Might per use, while the main utility is giving 2 stacks per use. Every Elixir, including tossed versions, used to give 2 stacks (unless my memory has completely failed me.)

Was this change intentional?

tossed elixirs always gave 1 stack of might. elixirs that you drink give two since december 14th.
the wording on the trait is vague, but not so much on the patch notes
HGH: Drinking an elixir now grants two stacks of might instead of one.

To my knowledge, the old HGH used to give one Might stack for both thrown and drank elixirs. Awhile back, they changed it so HGH made the drinkable versions give two Might stacks. The thrown elixirs never gave more then one.

There was no change to HGH this patch. So yes you’re memory has completely failed you.

Not sure if it granted 2 in some earlier patch, haven’t had HGH for that long, but prior to this latest one it only granted 1 stack.

However, I seem to remember certain elixir gun skills, the toolbelt skill healing mist in particular used to give a HGH might stack, being flagged as Elixir skills. But not any longer after the patch. I could just be mistaken and have gotten the might stack from somewhere else, but I was fairly sure it came from the E-gun skills.

Hmm, weird. I could have sworn I was stacking 2 Might per thrown elixir before. Ah well, question answered.

What you may have been seeing is a thrown Elixir B granting Might plus the Might from HGH.

Others are correct, might stacking was originally 1 for drinking, 1 for throwing, and was buffed to 2 for drinking, 1, for throwing. Still not enough to even make me consider taking an elixir.
