Healing Turret Bug Question
try sitting in the fire to the West side of the Lobby of the Mists.
It’ll burn you at a relatively controlled rate, so you can see the green numbered goodness that is your healing turret regen.
Last I tested, a month or two ago, you’ll continue to get ticks of 5. For example, put down the turret and get 30 seconds of regen. Then pick it up and it starts ticking 5. Then get regen any other way. It will tick 5 for the 30 seconds, then start ticking bigger again. It seems to work a little like a queue.
Also turrets don’t scale with stats so as I recall you’ll always get the base regen heal no matter what your “healing” stat is.

Turrets do scale with traits; if you’re traited for Healing, then you’ll heal more while it’s down. They do not, however, scale with gear-given bonuses.

Healing Turret scales with Traits only in PVE. Doesnt work in the mist. Fully traited gives only +9 per tick. All other turrets still don’t scale. So its best to change your statement to Healing turret scales.
Detonate the turret, will keep ticking at 130 or whatever your stats make it, plus if you do it while the water field is up you’ll trigger an aoe heal combo.
Right now there is extremely low benefit from picking up any turrets, every turret’s detonation sets off a blast finisher and does a little damage, traited it knocks back.
Picking it up the cooldown is knocked down by 25%, so 5 seconds off the heal turret, 15 from rocket.
I suppose you can try to weigh those few seconds against the explosion and see which comes out on top, plus trait if you can spare those points, plus the toolbelt lightning trait if you really want to max out, detonate turret counts as a toolbelt skill.

Ah yes, I wasn’t watching the ticks longer than 3 seconds, makes the detonation during a water field more useful I think then.
