People need to stop complaining about it, just make sure you do your burst when it does it’s field. It’s completely adaptable it’s on time each time so it’s not a problem

The problem I’m seeing is the time it takes to summon gyros like Shredder Gyro

Why does it take a longer time for you to summon a Gyro to do a combo field in the same space you summon it in? What is the point of that? You’re turning on a device it’s actually easier to summon a magnetic inversion field way faster than this gyro.

Additionally why are gyros taking more time than turrets to be summoned? If anything turrets should take more time because they are ranged.

When you are using the new scrapper setup and weapon, you are more vulnerable so making it harder to get the combos out doesn’t make any sense.

Shredder Gyro has the same summoning animation as Personal Battering Ram but even slower lol.
But I dont care much about shredder gyro. The blast gyro on the other hand could have been pretty fun to use but they ruined it for me that it only can be activated when you have a target, the throwing of the tag announcing to your enemy that you are sending a slow moving gyro on its way which may or may not detonate when they meet eachother (really dumb ai) even if you try to summon it and detonate it manually in melee range it takes like 1-1.5 seconds which is long.

Blast Gyro would be perfectly fine for me if not this kittening random targetting and the delay before it starts moving.

And shredder gyro is basically a turret, to be honest. Or what turrets should become.

Sums it up pretty good. When it comes to AI I definitely prefer turrets over gyros, just because they can not move ^^. If all companions in the entire game had the same AI, there would be no afk farming at all.

I am not a huge fan of the healing turret, so I do use the medic gyro. Sadly it is one of those weird trades, which actually allow you to move while healing but punish you if you do so :S. But it has its good sides. Runes&traits&foods which work with activation of healing skill can be used for the detonation as well, which is nice. The idea of healing allies arround passively is great. And the toolbelt is awesome.

The second gyro I use is the function gyro, wich also a rather broken but funny AI. As it sometimes follows a teleporting corpse although it should not, thanks ANet o/. If I time it well, I can even order it to revive dead players, thanks ANet o/. And it somehow resists many terrain condtions for no reason at all, thanks Anet o/.

The sneak gyro is the one I use the least. Sometimes it can jump over rocks, use stairs, walk through water. And sometimes it cannot pass a tiny stem on the road. The infinite stealth-bug still works after countless reports, thanks ANet o/. The stealth-reveal looks good at first, if we would not have different types of stealth :S.

The blast and shredder ones are a true pain. I have not figured out a proper use for them. But I am confident, there is a way to abuse their broken mechanics as well ^^.

Medic gyro isn’t worth keeping out because it lags so far behind you. It’d be a decent heal if it cleansed a condi or two, but otherwise doesn’t quite measure up to healing turret.

Purge gyro is great at what it does, but is only necessary in PvP, I find.

Shredder gyro is purely for speeding dolyaks with the superspeed trait. It’s terrible even after they buffed it by like %1000.

Blast gyro is good cc, but IMO it’s not worth a skill slot because it’s slow and pathing doesn’t always work.

Sneak gyro is 100% worth it and the best of the gyros. It’s great utility for wvw roaming, pvp engaging & escaping, and generally having the upper hand on a 4s interval through a fight.
