I jst played spvp and i fought this engi…. i got him down to 30% hp. after that 0 of my condis applied to him everyime i tried it said IMMUNE. ive been trying to figure out what made him immune for 20+ secs. instead of jumping straight to hacking. I play a condi mes. he was using a lot of turrets+ bomb kit and a rifle. I think he was using healing turret- rifle turret- rocket turret- bomb kit- supply drop.

My teammate and i were 2v1ing him. and when he got to 30% hp. every condi said immune. i would screen shot my combat log but condis do not show up on log + neither does immune. any ideas?

and no he did not use the elixer that made him small nor did he ahve the one that procs at 25% hp

Automated response. GM trait in alchemy. Simple way to beat him is to condi bomb him right at 40%. It doesn’t cure condis, only prevents the application of new ones. Its also getting nerfed hard in 2 days

like i used scepter 3 and every tick of confusion it said immune. then i switched to staff and threw down chaos storm and still immune. then proceeded to shatter for confusin and guess what. he was immune

Yes, 100% reduced duration. On top of that you can add runes of melandru and you will never put a single condition on him past 25% hp.

But that goes away in two days and then you’ll be able to faceroll with your condi mesmer, relax.

Since engis have very few ways to remove conditions, you’ll be able to faceroll them. Grats. Oh and yes, no matter the build, if you have conditions and a lil bit of skill you can faceroll a power engi and probably a condition engi.

Actually this is a bit stronger since it stops even the +duration%.

Its still funny how whenever something happens that someone wasnt expecting its always “hacks!!!” Or “you cheater!!!” Nowadays when someone tells me im hacking i just get a big smile on my face. Its the sign of a job well done

Your a condi mesmer and got countered nothing you can really do except ask for help from someone with direct damage or load him up early enough that the condis still tick. He took the trait on purpose to fight builds like yours.

I hardly call that useless. As well, we have no idea as to what other changes are being implemented that will effect condition removal.
