What if there was a Turret bar that could hold say, 2-3 turrets? I really feel like all Engineers should be using turrets, its just dumb how they expect you to lose utility slots for them.

Instead of toolbelt? I really like the idea, but its execution will be much harder and it might be kind of OP if we have 2 turrets always at our disposale. Imagine P/P with a toolkit, elixer S, net turret, rifle turret and an elite?→ ghell engineers would own!

that depends. after patch lots of engineers were trying out turrets builds on sPvP, i would see them camping points, use flame blast and take out every turret at the same time :S they are really not that strong!!

but leave toolbelt alone! most of our best skills are there :P hehe! but yea.. a big ol bomb could take out every turret as well

I don’t feel every engineer should be using turrets for the same reason I feel Necro’s shouldn’t be forced into using minions.

But hey, look at that infamous Death Magic 5 point trait.

Personally I haven’t used turrets for anything more than as blast finishers in my 500 hours as engi, other than Supply Crate of course.

I probably will dabble with the Accelerant-Packed turrets builds before I give up hope on the Engineer completely though.

The intent with the latest patch was clearly to pigeonhole us into… something. Turrets, it sounds like, from the way they keep crowing their useless buffs on them. News flash: turrets are still useless. At least Necro pets… you know. Move with you. Mesmer illusions get all up in the opponent’s face and explode. Turrets still just sit there and waste space in your utility slot that you could be using for stuff that… You know. Doesn’t suck.

They should really have not been setting up the turrets until after you engaged. They should have picked them up if no one was attacking.

ft (rifle, or +eg)
nades (bomb, or toolkit)
pp (HGH, or condo duration)
tankcat (moar prybar ne1?)
