Hello Board Members,

I have read quite a few topics and would love to receive a concise mentality on the current state of the game for Engineers.

I’m not to sure what constitutes as a bad player making rants or if there are actually problems with the class as I have just reached the level cap with my Engineer and it is my first level 80.

I love WvWvW and sPVP, how are engineers in regards to these two parts of the game?

Are engineers generally using pistols, rifles, shields, etc ?

Are the Devs planning on doing anything to Engineers in the coming future?

Any post will be biased and pointless.
Play what you like and feel most comfortable with and you will do best, that’s how all the classes are designed. This is NOT a numbers game. DPS is NOT the primary contributing factor to anything.

I personally LOVE my engi for wvw, more than any other class. I can barely play for an hour with my ranger or ele without switching back to my mobile siege factory. As for the guns, I love all of them and actively switch between all three sets. It’s all about what you like.

As for what devs are planning, we know that they will be adding kits to scale with weapon stats. Or adding the weapon stats (power/prec etc) to kits. What they actually meant has probably become a little blurry but we know something along those lines is coming.
