How do I get might stacks efficiently?
How close can you get? Mask uses boon duration runes. The might duration runes have higher duration. Might-stacking sigils also help. Using Mask’s build I get about 7 stacks out of combat, but about 12 in combat if I keep everything up. Certainly not 20, but at least in the mid-teens should be possible.

Sigil of battle (Gain 3 stacks of main on weapon swap while in combat)
Enhance Performance gives 3 stacks of might on healing skill use.
Message me any time in game.
Thank you,
they can get to about 12 also in combat. Will have to look into getting them some sigils. Although two sigils of battle wont give them 6 stacks right? If they ahd two one handed weapons.
No, two wouldn’t stack. I’ve never seen more than 14 or so in Mask’s videos. I think you’d get 20 only with external help.

An easy way to build up stacks of might is abusing the fact that just switching into the Med Kit (not even using a skill from there) counts as using a healing skill. That way you can gain 12 stacks of might just from switching in and out of Med Kit (3 from sigil of battle, 3 from Enhanced Performance trait, 3 from 2 runes of Altruism).
Letting your elixers take care of the rest along with some might/boon duration runes will let you build up those might stacks fast.
take 4 runes of altruism and 2 that give either boon duration or might duration along with a sigil of battle and the enhance performance trait if your swapping weapons efficiently you will maintain 20-25 stacks of might easy this is assuming your going a HGH build while roaming you will want to pop elixir b, toss elixir b, toss elixir h and switching between med kit to use the #5 skill and back to Elixir H, going this puts you at 14-16 stacks of might just running around take into account you haven’t used your elixir H yet which is 8 stacks of might puts you up to 22-24 and then you have elixir b at 75% hp which is an extra 3 making 25 might, of course you will have to make sure to watch your skills and time it properly to achieve maximum might up time also remember that the might stacking takes a bit of time, the duration’s last a longer then the cool downs of your skills so stacking might on an engineer takes 2 phase’s, before you enter combat or the start of a fight and the second part being when every thing comes of cool down and you can proc it all again for a good amount of time of 25 might then it will drop down to around 16-20 for a few seconds before you can buff it back up to 25 again, i hope this helps
I don’t know about you guys, but I run a static discharge rifle crit build, so I just use a superior sigil of strength since I crit almost every hit
another way is to set up build like this:
sigil of battle, sigil of strength
trait to enhance performance and juggernaut
2x altruism, 2x hoelbrak and 2x fire
use flamethrower
get crit rate of 45%
ghost pepper popper
change to healing skill every 10 seconds or so,
and have fun being 20+ to 25 might stack in combat easily during the day ^^

people say its OP are mad. indeed with 25 stacks of might, you can indeed whip someones kitten pretty badly…but managing it and getting it right is the most difficult part whilst fighting.
I play pve with HGH build and i can get about as high as 20 stacks by myself. but thats for a short while only.
i prefer run water/water/monk before mighty ones, i really like that protection boon and the perma regeneration whit elixir h, at least for roaming in wvw I think 8-12 stacks of might do fine.

Anyone running WITHOUT might at all?
I find it pretty sad that engineer damage seems to depend on a boon we have to sacifice so much for to get it.
HGH builds obviously get a lot in return, but all the others sacrifice quite some utility just to get the might.
Might stacking really has become too much of a standard for the engineer.
Boons in general of course, but for engineers that mostly boils down to ‘might stacking’.
In the same trend I hardly see any decent build with no points in Alchemy at all.
This is a side remark of course, as I think the OP’s original question got a lot of usefull answers on how to get those might stacks going
