How do you make Engi dps good as ranger?
Depends. Flamethrower Kit probably works well in just PvE conditions.
Support Wise Elixir Kit.
If we’re talking damage, you’re probably better off with Bomb or Grenade Kit for AoEs.
Static Discharge is fine too, but other classes can still hit harder then you even if you have full Exotics.
Regardless, there’s no “real” good end game build for us just cause we were designed with the intention of being a flexible class, so that’s something for you to find out.
It’s hard to say for engineers what is best for us end game in Dungeons really, cause we’re all over the board, and our Traits dont really match the stats in builds, so we’ll never be able to properly min-max our builds with stats, which is partially a huge reason our damage don’t match up well to other professions.
And of course, with so many bugged abilities and traits, our full potential is hard to attain in any setting.
Well, I see the damage lacking end-game, but I’m use to it with previous experiences with my other characters. What about defense as a medium armor wearing class end-game? Like whats the best skills to reduce damage/gear? Such as farming in Orr..? sigh Maybe dungeon running as a Engi is out of the question. Thanks tho!
if you want to be a tank, go look up the TankCat build in our forums. It’s meant for PvP, but it could easily be adjusted for PvE really.
But realistically dungeon running with Engineers is sort’ve hard at high level fractals, hence why you hear stories and reports of us being turned down from joining them. We just don’t bring as much to the table as other professions do right now.
