I’m still looking for the class I want to play, in between Druid/Ranger and Engi/Scrapper.

I’m very interested on acting as a DPS class for Raids and Fractals, and Engi seems fun, but the first 10 levels I played it, the class was extremely frail and painful to level when compared to everything else I’ve played.

I’m wondering how is this class later on for DPS, how it compares to Ranger/Druid and how much it will take me, since this is a pain.

Best PvE dps builds for both ranger and engi are condition builds.

Engi is one of the top condie class in PvE and offers quite a bit of utility as well. Ranger with druid spec is the go-to healer in raid but has the potential to do good condie damage as well if you want.

Engi has the highest skillcap of all professions in the game and your dps heavily depends on that. However it’s one of the best professions in the game due to massive utility combined with still high damage.

Druid on the other hand is 100% a buffer / healer and can barely be played as dps anymore. The damage is so low, a dps Mes would outdamage you :’D

Engi is the most enjoyable profession imo. So many buttons, combos, clutch moments, lol factor…
