I demand you increase a cooldown
How about they decrease the cooldown so we are actually useful in downed state like all the other classes who get escapes, push backs, and healing skills. All we get is something that pulls people close (why they thought this would be useful is beyond me). “Hey im downed over here, come here and finish me off please” and then a push back that i usually use 1/10 times that i get downed.
agree we need new sklills, why can’t I use the second skill to target an ally and pull myself to it? And that third skill is useless, when i have it ready for use i have no need for it since no enemies are nearby and i can use 4 to heal myself.

In spvp thats what I actually use it for, I know Im not gonna survive with my lame skills so I use it to give them a boost and help me get finished off quicker. (so I can spawn back into battle faster)
Well if you wait you can pull > pushback for some control, which is actually nice as a downer combo… if you last long enough to use it.

Thats the thing op said, you usually dont last long enough to use it. Even if you time your 2 to interrupt first finisher so they do have to do it again, the second finisher will pretty much much always finish you off with about a second left before number 3 finishes its cd.
in WvW, I use my downed state to drag people into my team’s zerg. Die to a warrior’s rifle while skirting the edge of the stare-off? No problem. Yoink some sucker into your teammate’s ravenous maws.
Peters must of come up with these downed skills, since they are pretty lame…

Two problems tho.
1. OP wants to INCREASE the cooldown, not decrease it. I know what he means but such mistakes demeans everyone.
2. Who is he to “demand” anything? Are we spoilt brats demanding everything to be done our way? Please differentiate what you are entitled to and what you aren’t and treat the devs with respect and then they might actually listen.
I wouldn’t mind the grapple line if it, you know, worked more than half the time. Its range is poor, its speed is slow, and its cooldown is just worthless. About the only use it has ever had for me is tripping someone in mid-flag, at which point they just stand back up and flag me again, often well before #3 becomes available.
At this point they may as well just give us a big AoE group grapple like Kohler’s instead of a single line. Anything to end the downed state faster so we can res at the waypoint. >_>;
I use the second skill to interrupt a kill shot and by then the third skill is up. I am not saying that we do not need a change but that is a work around.
How about we throw explosives that are actually affected with burning so they become useful (because I don’t see anything on our traits system that increases our damage output when downed like other leatherwearing classes)
How about they allow us to release a turret that helps us rez ourself, like a special healing turret. We have minipets too you know why can’t they help get us back up?
Or how about a cloaking field while downed? I have the points in cloaked device why can’t that be the second ability and the third ability be a turret to help heal me?
My point is, we may be downed doesn’t mean our devices are, why is it automatically assumed all of our stuff is turned into junk when we are lying there but it’s magically fixed and useable when we come out of the downed state?
