Our mortar kit got different animations, it’s all one handed now. Not that I’m bothered by it , I’m even pleased with it but.. what a strange thing to look after in these times.

No, it is one handed for the charr now. Each race has a different animations I Believe.

Well I know the Norn has a similar one from what I’ve seen, have yet to find out about the rest of races.

The new mortar animation is so nice I really love it! It’s so realistic to use just one hand for a mortar now! /sarcasm

So it is a new animation! I noticed this yesterday and thought it was some small bug in the animation. Nice to see this nice touch

You can’t promote the concept of bathing in your own bomb explosions and yell at the ability to use a grenade rifle with one hand for realistic reasons at the same time. Besides, a little Terminator feel shouldn’t hurt that bad.

We know that bomb kit fixes are far higher on the list of important changes, and those didn’t see work yet.

But who knows, that could mean that someday we will get a model for the Mortar that doesn’t look like a Little Billy’s First Project In Hammer.

People working on animations probably aren’t the same people working on bug fixes.

The Asura animation is pretty cool. Two hands and it almost makes me fall over when I shoot it.

Mostly magitech with gasmask helmet and atherblade shoulderpads.
Atherblade and magitech are gemstore sets. Gasmask can be bought for laurels.

Ah, sadly, that’s way too far away from the Engineer as we know it. At the vert best, only the Rocket Turret’s toolbelt skill could be close to what you’re looking for, and still, there’s no reason to put it on your shoulder when you already have it in your belt.
