Upon of one my roaming adventures I stumbled upon very skilled engi running a different type of build we ended up duking it out was a very exciting battle. luckily I was recording at the time. Added few other fights to the video the main show is at the end hope you guys enjoy it.

How do you rocket boot out of the ring of warding at around the 2:00 mark? I know those things tend to bug out sometimes and knock the person to the other side, but you went straight through like you had stability. Never seen that happen before.

Look on the terrain.
the ring was placed downhills towards the side he was jumping out.
I’ve noticed previously already that it is possible to jump out of it if its placed on a ledge or stairs since the actual “wall” from this ring only seems to be high enough to prevent jumping out on plain surfaces.
Dunno if it was luck or skill in this case, but its a reproducible bug/mechanic. Try it out with a friendly guardian in spvp. In extreme cases (like 45° stairs) it also works with the line of warding, but in general it’s higher than the ring of warding so it’s less likely to achieve that in the field.

Yea as Arantheal stated its generally a terrain issue but in my experience rocket boots always generally get me out of ring of wars and over line of wardering. You can even jump dodge over line of warding

Looks like he use Dire gear with Grenth runes and Hydromancy and Energy sigil P&P Tool Kit EG, rest hard to say:-)

Oh i didn’t know you posted this on the forums lol. That was just a test run of a new build I had thought of. I usually use the rifle as well.
