Incendiary Powder CD
The discription says: No.
But because it’s a chance there is no CD needed, I guess.
It has a cooldown, but I think there are no sources other than tests. Due to explosive shot and piercing bullets I can get more than 6 crits in a single shot yet I never saw more than one person burning at a time.
I believe someone said the cooldown is 3 seconds after doing some tests.

I’ve heard 2, and 3. Have not tested myself yet to find the number.
However, I can confirm it does exist. With p1 coated bullets, and with grenades, at no point did it every burn more then 1 target. While bleeds were stacking up like crazy.
yeah the explosive line has always left me with more questions than answers.
With Incendiary Powder I have never seen more than one burning and that was with coated bullets and a 93% crit rate.
Also does anyone know if Explosive Powder works with the pistol auto attack explosive bullets or is that only for bombs and/or grenades?
It should work with all crits, I’m sure I saw it triggering on pistol skills 1 and 2.

It is any crit. bombs, pistols, rifles, elixir gun, you name it. any target that was crit, in aoe.
But as stated. pistol 1 with coated bullets might hit 10 targets, 3 times each, and get like 25 crits. giving 1-2 bleeds per target to ten targets due to sharpshooter and it NOT having a cooldown. incendiary powder will only be applied to 1 of those 10 targets, once.
Just did some testing.
3.2 seconds was the shortest I could get between two burns. Doubling hitting with p1 and coated bullets Crit was not 100% though. this does not mean its 3. But does mean, its not longer then 3.

Thanks guys.
This raises the question whether Incendiary Powder is ‘worth it’.
I went for a P/S build with high crit chance to get many IP procs, thinking about Napalm Specialist and trying to maximise burn uptime.
There was a thread somewhere, if I remember correctly, about the burn length increase percentage needed to make burn worth your while…

Its value depends on your build concept. If you have a decent crit % but do not use flame thrower or pistol off hand it is very. If you are using weapons sets and skills that stack alot of burn, then I find next to know value in the trait.
I do not use it, because I use fire bomb for the combo field and tend to stack enough to last until fire bomb is up again, so the trait would very literally be wasted. In a decent crit chance gadget build or elixir build though, it is a very good trait.
