What’s up my fellow rifle tottin’ gun slingi’g engineers and hamma scrappers. I’m at a crossroads whether I decide to keep saving up for the Legendary Eternity for other classes or do I spoil myself to a QUIP?

Legendaries in my possession so far:

- Juggernaut – Hammer Scrapper!
- HOPE – Pistol engi pew pew!
- Ascension – Wheeeeeeee flying meeeee!

I thought dual wielding HOPE would be the best looking for my condi engi but after seeing the pairing with QUIP and the purple glow…… I’m leaning towards getting a 2nd legendary pistol instead.

I appreciate the community feedback. Let me know your thoughts all!

I hate Quip, so don’t ask me.

You don’t need to Quip if you have Hope. Though, after seeing the Holosmith, you might want to Bolt.

If you want a purple glowing effect from Quip, use it in your offhand. Otherwise, HOPE is generally better IMO.

(I have both. I use Quip in the offhand, HOPE in the mainhand)

That’s exactly what I’m going for, the purple glow with the HOPE sound effects. Then if I feel like annoying nearby players, swap QUIP into mainhand and HOPE into offhand.

It’s way too early to assume that the engineer will still be using a sword at release. Especially with their history of scrapping stuff for the engineer at the last minute

2 legendaries man? I’m still recovering from my predator I crafted 2 years ago! If I had to get a 2nd one though, then I’d either get Shooshadoo and look badkitten strolling around WvW with a fishtank on my back, or get the HMS Divinity and join up with a fleet to unleash cannongeddon.

Wait for Holosmith. Bolt is a hell of a lot better than most legendary weapons.
