Iron Blooded suggestion
If they ever buff it, theyll probably just give a 2 percent reduction to conditions also, and as far as replacing traits go, this one doesnt even come close to matching what AR could do. I would like if they followed your suggestion though.
As it currently is, Il think modified ammo and iron blooded should be master traits at best. They are situational and require a lot to get some benefit from them. I know comparing classes isnt valid, but Destruction of the empowered works similarly and it gives 3 percent
The problem with Iron blooded, is that it competes with HGH.
HGH is a much better choice with any elixers in your skillset since it has the CD reduction built into it, but elixirs give you the most boons so the trait would be best with elixirs.
If you could take both HGH AND Iron-Blooded it’d be amazing, but you can’t.
Perhaps it’s meant to work with medkits and experimental turrets, but you’d still have a fairly lackluster boon upkeep without camping the medkit.
But it’s probably balanced for team play rather than soloing. If you have allies buffing you with shouts and such then you CAN have a consistent 5-ish boons on you for that steady damage decrease.
Iron blooded needs to feel good, every trait should make you feel good, but they don’t.
In this case Iron blooded should provide something like this:
-2% damage reduction for every unique boon you have
-2% condition duration reduction for every “stack” of condition you have
It won’t be OP , because you will be taking a ton of damage if you have 10 stacks of total condition on you, 20% condition duration reduction won’t really save you from anything, but it just feels better. It’s all about the feelz!
Stimulant supplier also doesn’t feel good, it’s a crappy GM trait, in the end you only go this line for HGH, or you really wanted protection injection and backpack regenerator, and settle with iron blooded; but you won’t truly be happy, because the design is flawed
