If you only have access to (permanent) swiftness, is Rapid Regen worth taking?

It depends.

If you are running P/P and Gyros, then Rapid Regeneration is the best of the three available traits.

All things considered, you might be able to get around 1,000 to 1,200 heal out of detonating a Gyro.

He said he’s not running any super speed. That means no Final Salvo.

If you are trying to base a build solely around the idea that this will provide some additional sustain without reasonable access to and upkeep of superspeed, then you would be wasting your efforts.

If nothing else works for you on the master tier traits, then there shouldn’t be a problem with taking it; don’t expect much.

The sustain from Rapid Regeneration using swiftness alone is similar to the sustain from Backpack Regenerator, which was popular before HoT. Do people still use Backpack Regenerator? If so, then Rapid Regeneration is probably also viable, as long as the other two master traits aren’t useful to you, as Mnemesis says.

I’ve never played a build where Rapid Regeneration was worth taking without any access to Superspeed. If you play hammer with Perfectly Weighted, then the might on stab trait is really strong (provided you have a bit of additional boon duration), same if you play a build with Elixir B. I guess the second trait doesn’t really work in most builds (we have a lot of knockbacks, but not many dazes and stuns), but if you play an hybrid build with one gyro and hammer without Final Salvo, it would still be better than Rapid Regeneration.

I don’t bother with perfectly weighted because I run rabid and condi build. So I use the Rapid Regen.

I have plenty of might from FT fire field, alchemy, exli B. So might with stability isn’t huge. I also don’t do a lot of hammer damage. The extra hundread tick with my regen backpack seems nice. Since I have rabid I could technically make a bit of a power boost from it but at such low vit, I find the regen saves me sometimes.
