Hello there I main an engineer, and while I currently run a full zerk setup I am thinking of switching to this might stacking and vulnerability stacking I believe this will give me 7 blast finishers ( Shield 4, Healing Turret, Elite, Thumper Turret 1 , Thumper Turret 2, Thumper Turret 3, and Bomb) for 21 stacks of might for the group. Do you think the 10% extra condition duration (mostly for vulnerability) for the each givers weapon is worth the loss of the zerker stats off of them or not.

posted this in the dungeon forum too as it is meant for dungeons…

Against trash mobs your team should hit roughly 25 stacks even without you using Giver weapons so against those Berserker is the better choice.
Against bosses it depends on your team composition. Theoretically two Giver weapons increase of each party member by 1,5%, however if your team member have abilities that inflict a lot of stacks with a relative long recharge it can be that increased condition duration has not benefit. Basically if you have no more than 1 Warrior and 2 Guardians/Thieves in your group Giver is slightly better, otherwise Berserker.

I wanted to let you know that I had a lot of issues getting thumper turret overcharge to use its blast finisher when not in combat. It was delayed roughly 10 seconds from when I pushed it (timed by me putting down my flamethrower fire field and then thumper+overcharge… the overcharge wouldn’t go off in time to blast the fire field).

It has to attack something to do the overcharge, and thus the blast. It will not attack something if there’s nothing in combat with you to attack.
