Is rune of the engi a mistake or does it still stack in?

ok too many thread views and posts to nerf complaint threads so just got the runes. 12/6 but still seems to stack/add. wvw fear my naaades! …more now at least.

i believe they are suggesting that if you have 12pc engi runes you are getting double buffed?

So what I get, is when you have 6 runes of the Engineer sitting in your PvP gear, and 6 rune of the Engineer in your normal gear (when you have double runeset, they will shot you like you have 12, and not 6)! But when you do that with that rune, you say your Rune Bonus stack double or am what do you mean?

I can has Engineer Runes?

From what I gathered- he is saying that if you have 6 engineer runes on your normal gear, then 6 on your pvp gear- he is apparently getting the stats for both of them in his normal gear- if this is true, it would give a pretty significant stat boost.

same thing happenin with my gear dont think it changes the starts it just has in red 12/6.
also i am using rune of the fighter dont think it is just rune of the engineer

PvP and PvE runes stack in terms of tooltips. You don’t get double the stats however or rune of the engineer must be an exception.

It’s a UI bug. If you use the same runes in sPvP that you do in PvE, the game will get confused. That counts for any rune set.

You are not actually getting the bonus of both your rune sets.

If you look at class runes, like rune of the mesmer, rune of the engi etc, it shows that they are already applied to your class without using the physical runes. If you bother to use a set, where it shows how many you are equipped with (e.g. 6/6 by default) it turns red and shows 12/6 if you do equip one set. Now if I were somehow using two physical sets, Id be saying 18/6 which I’m sure doesn’t fit nor stacks. Engi with 6 engi runes = 12/6. Get it? And, shows as red btw, but still seems to work.
