iirc those 10/15 patch notes mentioned backpieces overriding kits

Apparently, there’s a possibility that the character with the flamethrower and Slickpack there is an NPC using an Environmental Bundle.

Do not be alarmed, do not be excited…Our belove\d game developer gave us- engineers- only promises so far, new items in their shop and nothing more that is crucial to gameplay mechanics.
Sorry but after 1.5k hours played as a engii and necro i am simply sceptic.
Give me patch notes, give me calculations, mechanics, math – then we will see,

this will hit 10/1 tho.
also leaked notes talks about weapon skills that bug your back item which are not weapon kits.

I don’t think the leaked notes explicitly say anything about Kits, so it’s entirely possible, as has just been pointed out, that they meant things like Ranger Axe skills doing weird things.

They advertise their new backpack skin with the CONCEPT of engineer esthetic. You see a character wearing medium armor set with engineer flamethrower. They advertise it using engineer elements doesn’t matter if its npc or not. Don’t tell me a character wearing magitech armor with flamthrower doesn’t look like engineer.

But the turth is you can never have that look on your character due to hobosacks. So they advertise something that you can’t actually have in the game.

So tell me now, do you know what is false advertisement means Isaac?

One of the devs has already mentioned they were trying to make hobosacks obey the hide backpack checkmark. Plus there was even a note about it in leaked pach notes so Im not sure were you are getting that never-gonna-have-it-on-engie from

Read it many times trying to understand what you are asking, but for your question if its false advertising or if we are getting hide hobosacks option, the answer is we are getting hide option.

Nope the gun in the video is 100% a flamethrower. The Exterminator has a gold tube on the underside, a much sleeker looking ornament at the end of the barrel, and no canister of napalm sticking out of the top of it…the FT does.

That thing on his back however is not the FT backpack…speculate all you want about what that the @#$% ever that means. Wouldn’t say it’s false advertising as much as it’s jaded engineers reading to far into something that should’ve never been a problem at launch…stupid hobosacks…
