been away for a year not sure if this class is still consider great or not.

Mainly looking to do PvP/Advance pve.

Worth? Yeah, it’s currently best dps class for pve, but it’s still the hardest class to pick up and master so you’ll need to spend a lot more time to learn how to play it properly than ranger for example. As for pvp I’m not sure, but I think it’s a decent pick.

Does it matter if it was considerated great? i remember engi was a kitten to deal back then, when stuff like turret engi and 100 nades used to exist, don’t remember getting mentioned as a disgusting class since then, yet, that doesnt mean engi is doing bad at all, in fact.

I think this is the most healthiest patch we have got so far since the scrapper decline.

It does if the OP is asking whether engie is still considered great or not.

PvP for scrapper is mostly bunker play to hold down a point and support your teamates. Gyros will rez/stomp for you and some water and light fields for friendly support. Along with any gyros you bring, bulwark, stealth, purge. E.gun gives you super elixir and fumigate to help out with condi control.

For other roles there is just a lot bettet options. DPS play, Zerker, for decap, DD. Dedicated heals, Tempest or Drood.

You’re whole premise is flawed; the game changes, and what is great with it. If you’re looking for the ‘great’ class, you don’t understand how MMO’s that have classes work.
