Just wanted to share some informations about SD (Static Discharge, a trait in Tools)
SD used to be bugged in two ways:
First; it caused skilllag or rather interrupted your skill chain. If you used a toolbelt skill and another skill right after it, this one got canceled due the SD projectile.
This bug has been fixed since HoT
Second; (apparently unintended) toolbelt skills with a cast time used to shot a special projectile, wich dealt like 50% more damage. To make this even weirder, if you are using a skill right before and after a toolbelt skill with cast time, you shot the regular projectile. Yet during that time, the instant skills suddenly became 50% stronger.
The stronger static discharges had an legendary animation if you’ve had equipped the predator or the quip.
Since HoT, not only the animation has been removed, also the 50% stronger static discharges are completly gone
I noticed that when I helped someone to create an open world scrapper build for mainly using a rifle. If you think I did something wrong, let me know!
