Just another topic on tips for a build. :D
So I want to do quite a bit of wvw, while still doing some pve here and there. Now before you see the build, I’m still fairly noob to this game, so please forgive me if this build is… all over the place xD Also, not that great with choosing gear and such. So here it is:
I pretty much want to be critting a lot, so I want the chance over 50%, but I also want to be survivable. I’m going to be using kits along with pistol/pistol, but if pistol/shield is better please let me know. Also, I’d be fine if the tool kit was replaced, but I really do wanna use the flamethrower and elixir gun, unless it’s not recommended to do so.
Thanks for the help.
I am not sure on your play style, but from looking at your build…
-You probably don’t want too much spec’d into your pistols. You have 3 kits, which means you should be switching between them like a mad man and coming back to the pistol for Poison Dart or Static Shot. I’d use Juggernaut for the Might.
-Since you have 3 kits with the pistol, you want to spec more into condition damage than power. The kits you are using benefit more from condition damage and the pistol scales horribly with power anyway. Rabid gear would be my recommendation. I can’t tell if you wanted to have more survivability or not, since you had a few pieces of Valkyrie/Knights. Try mix matching some Knights gear in there as well if this is so.
-While Elixir H is arguably our best heal, you could dish out more support with the healing turret (drop it, over charge it, blow it up for AoE heals). It works well with the Elixir Gun’s Super Elixir.
-Elixir X doesn’t really work with the build it looks like you are trying to achieve, since you’re unable to use any of your kits when in Tornado or Berserker. Try Supply Crate instead.
-I don’t know if it has been changed or not, but last I knew. When having 2 sigils that have a chance to proc on crit, if one procs it puts the other sigil on cool down as well. It looks like you want a high chance to crit, why not use the Sigil of Accuracy instead? If you want to play the might stacking game, try the Sigil of Strength or Battle as well.
Like I said, I am not sure what you are actually trying to go for, so I can’t give you much more advice than this. Good luck to you mate!

What would be a good target point for condition damage?
What would be a good target point for condition damage?
I’d say if you’re around 1000, you’re doing alright.

Alright, thanks. I haven’t made it yet, but just so I don’t get bored and wimp out at level 10, engineers get more fun when I finally get their kits, right? I hate not being able to swap weapons, and the kits I want take quite a few levels to get. Also, are engineers really versatile? I’m typically going to be roaming and helping zergs and such.
And one last little bit, I’m not really into condition damage that much, though I don’t really see the point of a power build for an engineer, seeing as they have really good conditions and such. Just thought I’d add that even though it might not matter. xD
Thanks for the help by the way.
