Hello all!
After some time away from my Engineer, I finally powered him to 50 and crafted my way to 80 – now it’s time for the build suggestions.
First off, I played Pistol/Pistol with Grenade/Bomb kit and Elixir Gun the entire way, and I love the playstyle, so I really want to stick to that (especially the Grenade/Bomb kits, as I love the Toolbelt skills). I’m looking at going condition damage (obviously), but I’d also like some Power in there for the Pistols. That said, I’m looking for some build advice, as well as what to wear along the way.
I have two other characters wearing Rabid gear with Undead runes (Conditionmancer and Confusion Mesmer), but I’m not against doing that for a third time, as the gear is cheap and easy to get, and I can always change it up later. However, if there are better choices, I’m open to ideas.
For trinkets, I’m not sure yet (Rabid comes to mind again, just because of the ease of getting them)
For Pistols, I normally use Berserker’s weapons, but I was thinking Rampager’s because of the added Condition Damage.
Any help is greatly appreciated – keep the suggestions coming!
Well, pistols are actually more condition damage than direct damage as you will be using your kits most likely more than them. I’d suggest using a kit, popping out to fire off all of your pistol skills and then going back into nade/bomb kit.
Armor would have to have some sort of condition damage in their (either as minor or major) but the rest depends on if you want to build slightly tankier with a more healing or go for more overall damage.
